Due Dates: 2% Discount if paid by 4/30, Face Amount if paid by 6/30, 10%
Penalty added if paid after 6/30
Properties will be liened if the ENTIRE tax bill is not paid by 12/31 of the current tax year
School District Real Estate
Tax bills are mailed July 1st each year and cover a period of 7/1 thru 6/30 of the
following year.
Due Dates: 2% Discount if paid by 8/31, Face Amount if paid in full by 10/31, 10%
Penalty added if paid after 10/31
Properties will be liened if the ENTIRE tax bill is not paid by 12/31 of the current tax year
Installment option (School Real Estate Only):
If you choose installment payments the discount is forfeited, the face amount is
divided equally into three payments due 8/31, 10/15 and 11/30. Each carries its own 10% penalty if not paid by due date. Missing any of the installment payments will still result in the property being liened if not paid in full by 12/31.
All Real Estate Taxes must be paid by December 31 of the current tax year in order to avoid liens being placed on the property.
All properties that have been approved by the Bucks County Board of Assessment for "Homestead Status" will receive the Homestead exclusion credit on their SCHOOL REAL ESTATE TAX BILL. You can contact the Bucks County Board of Assessment to determine if your property has already been approved for Homestead or if a Homestead application needs to be filed. 215-348-6223.
